Wild River bushwalking

For members who have a passion for bushwalking and are interested to challenge and extend themselves.

This difficult route is only recommended for youth and adult members who are developing their capacity, resistance and endurance. All team members must be capable of responding to emergencies.

The rivers provide a natural refuge in the event of bushfire.

Long untracked sections. Remote area. Route only, experienced navigation required. Potential dense growth and debris on route caused by recent fire. Wades, swims, river crossings and rock scrambles

Kanangra Boyd & Blue Mountains National Park. Spectacular wild and remote country.

Route to be confirmed closer to the date. Departure may be delayed dependent on weather and bushfire safety.

A food and water drop may be arranged to reduce weight.
