At night, cook up a hearty meal and enjoy some stargazing before falling asleep to the sounds of the bush. This session focuses on essential skills required for multi day hikes. Join us for one of the classics. This iconic walking track includes walking track and firetrail. Track grades are medium & hard with some extended steep ascent/decent sections. There is a significant climb (1000 m) to Black Range. We recommend this for youth members who have already completed at least one overnight hike & who are comfortable carrying a loaded pack. This involves extended strenuous physical activity and endurance.

Bring your own food supply for 3 days. Campsites are equipped with toilets and storm shelters. A lightweight tent is recommended. There are no costs except for self catering and transport. You can be picked up from Jenolan Caves or can make a booking to travel on the Coach to Katoomba. CDC Tours Coach Transfer from Jenolan Caves to Katoomba approx $36 Child $45 Concession. Please bring some money for refreshments at Caves House. Activity Leaders will provide direct and or remote supervision throughout the hike.

Please wait until closer to the date to book for the Coach.
